Thanks to the Travelers

Give Thanks

Aloha! I’m so excited to share my first official blog post. I wanted it to be for Thanksgiving because there has been a lot going on in my family and there is a lot for me to be grateful for.

While we are a travel agency that books custom vacations for our customers, I also want to share little things that may bring more perspective to you in life and in your travels.

For me, Thanksgiving is not tied to any specific event in the history of the United States. Instead, it is a day to give thanks for the many blessings that we have in our lives.

When I started this business, I didn’t fully have an idea of where I wanted to take it. All I really knew was that I love planning, any type of planning. But what type of planning would I do? Travel came to mind after I came home from a Caribbean cruise. Why shouldn’t I plan vacations for others? I’m a true believer that every hard-working person out there deserves a vacation.

As I started to plan and brainstorm and talk to people, I started moving to where I’m at now. I realized I want to help people learn more about the world through travel, experience a different culture, give back through travel, make genuine connections around the world, help support sustainability, promote tourism that protects an ecosystem, and most importantly, bring joy into the lives of others.

This Thanksgiving, I am grateful to you. I am grateful for the explorers, adventurers, conservationists, learners, romanticists, animal lovers, environmentally conscious, foodies, nature lovers, travelers. Thank you.

Here is some food for thought. Look at everything you have in life and truly appreciate it. I’m grateful to wake up in the morning. I have sight, hearing, all my limbs. A lot of people have far less. Appreciating the small things in life makes one’s journey in life far more rewarding. A positive attitude goes a long way.

I hope you find a lot of things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I think I’ll also be grateful that you read this to the end.

Much Aloha,

Tasha-Ann Torres
